Awesome it is so much more fun now. Thank you. It plays like my old board game Squad Leader. Its fantastic fun!

(Review update) I love this game. I found the restore button (open one of your previous purchases and its at the bottom of the screen) didnt save progress, but all of the levels are back. Im happy again.

Very nice integration of historical units, terrain effects, and mission diversity. Good job, developers. Suggestion: any chance of a Maritime/Naval series? Phonecians vs Athenians, frigate vs sloop, ironclad vs sail, dreadnought armada, task force vs pt boats?

First one of the Hex War games I tried. Was disappointed, not now!

I love most things about the update. The addition of strategic movement and move/fire is good. It seems like the AI hasnt fully learned those things yet, but that is a help to me, I suppose. Too bad I lost my progress, scores, and achievements, but I dont really mind replaying. Text intros still contain errors...

Well, I and others complained about the lack of ability to fire and shoot, so I only gave it 2 stars....BUT... These guys listen. The latest update from about the middle of April fixes all that and offers new scenarios. I love all their tank games, and this update moves 1944 closer to the others, quality, which I think are all 4 star games. Well done guys, and thanks for listening to your customers!

THE TEXT ON THE SCREEN OF AN IPHONE IS WAY TOO TINY TO READ! ARE YOU LISTENING??? DO YOU CARE??? This was not an "upgrade"! This changed the whole game! I liked the game before the upgrade! Now the text is way too small to read on an iphone. I also lost all of my previous games on all levels except the first one and they will not restore. Also, limiting movement when LEAVING a wood line is an unrealistic change. Also, allowing a vehicle to fire from high ground into low ground when the firing vehicle is not on the edge of the high ground is an unrealistic change. Should have left the old game alone if they were going to make such radical changes and just sell a whole new game!

I love all of the Tank Battle games. They offer hours of war gaming and strategy entertainment. Normandy is awesome. The beach landings are great. They are very well done. Thanks!

For those of you who use to enjoy the old style WWII board games. Tank Battles is for you! For those who have never played them will have the chance to experience the joys of playing a game with simple mechanic but offers a variety of tactics in its execution. But its more than just a Tank Game. Its a full on WWII battle with over 50+ of all kinds of units from infantry to the King Tiger Tanks! The game also has a challenging AI that will satisfy beginners and season veterans a like. On top of that, Hex War has taken over ownership from Hunted Cow and is in the process of updating the Tank Battles series with improved game mechanics and graphics! (Updated game have a white dice in the lower left corner of the icon). The biggest improvements are with TB 1944. The original game allowed unit to move or shoot but not both. Hex War has fixed this and has made a long time fan of this game very happy! Over all Tank Battle is a very enjoyable game that you wont be disappointed with.

Best of the Hex games that I have played, the invasion scenarios are impressive and unlike any I have played. Well done!

Fun game. Much like the old Panzer General. Worth the money and more. Update: the Juggernaut scenarios above the Casual level are impossible to win as the US player. The German (computer) player has unlimited reinforcements and upgraded hit scoring. Kind of a joke. No stars.

By far this is the best hex war app I have ever played. The standard difficulty levels were a bit challenging. Bring on the whole World War 2 campaign naval, air and land!

By far the best strategy game I have ever played. I love the battlefields as well as the units you can command, i really felt like a commander!

The maps of this game were designed with the old battle rules in place (both range of guns and only one option to move or fire). The longer range of guns and the ability to run and gun made this game too easy. No strategy. Additionally the side in which the player fights from has changed. Horrible update that killed the strategic side of this game. Return to the OLD fighting rules!

This is simple and fast. Think Memoir 44, not ASL. No deep thinking required but it is a fun game worth picking up.

Liked game so I bought some campaigns. When the game updated, I was locked out of the extra campaigns I purchased.

I love their WWII titles. Great challenging fun.
