Tank Battle: 1944 App Reviews

Close to the old pc game panzer général. I think someone should find a way to emulate on intelligent phone the hole panzer general series. Those games were less than 5 Mb and ran on PC far less advance then todays phone. Yet with their campains and histrical scenarios the games were better.

Its basically a scaled down counter based war game. It does a great job of teaching you all that you have to know without making you read a manual. Building up concepts through the game one at a time.

A good hex based game which is entertaining and addictive. It lacks detailed realism but gives back playability in return. The true grognards will be disappointed but its good to find a tactical game which isnt some cheesy arcade fluff.

I quite ejoyed playing the game. The controls are easy to pick up and there are some tutorial missions to help get you going. The graphics for the different tanks are very similar so I usually get them confused. Personally I think that tree cover is very powerful - a foot unit can take out 2-3 tank units if they are in the trees. Overall, good fun to pass the time.

Similar to the old Panzer General. Easy game to master, however you can make it through the whole game very fast. Angry birds never ends, this one ends too soon and you have to buy extra missions/campaign. Stuck in my own tank threads having to redo the same campaigns and try to get a better score. Suggestion: A reset campaign button would be nice...

So I bought this game because the reviews were okay. I finish the game in 3 hours and then I have to pay more money for the next campaign. No wonder they ask you to review the game before it ends.

This is a great game and I love it. I was editing for the new material. But it does not download. It gives an error message "4 items expected but 0 were found". And the German scenarios previously opened ate locked again. Please look at this. Thanks

Would be 5 stars if the latest updates worked and as stated the German scenario that I had previously purchased wasnt locked now. WTF!!! Fix please.

Really nice little game, not to complex but enough to become addictive with updates and more scenarios better one than the others! Great works and keep continue updating!

Great game. But every updated add-on that comes out is 99 cents. Good game but not $10 fun. Sorry but Im not buying anymore.

Not good boys, you buy a campaign only to later be locked out of it. This must be fix or the bad press will only ruin your reputation and a great game!

Waiting for the opposition to move takes too long. Its annoying. Sitting around for 60 seconds while the computer makes its moves is lame.

I would give this a 5 star. I love this game soooo much! But the extra campaigns for 99 cents? A rip off

This is the best strategy game app ever!!!!!! But 99cent campaigns is a rip off

simple, but no recostitution of history, map is short and just few board for the price.

Plays like an old-school chit & hex wargame. Looking forward to more titles.

We should be able to play our own music and iron cross campaign 1st level should have more units
